Scratch_Beck, Turntable Noise Performance (DE)
Den tyske ljudkonstnären Scratch Beck från Frankfurt kommer till Galleri 21 och genomför en turntableperformance där han kombinerar elektronisk musik med analoga system, något som han själv kalla för noize-concept. Han dekonstruerar det ursprungliga materialet på skivorna och skapar nya musikaliska element och ljudbilder.
”Scratching is the very direct approach of making the process of sound creation transparent in a modern environment. It's no more about score, notation and instruments, but about prerecorded material, technology and history. Scrachting demonstrates that music always already exists (what maxbe Cage has discovered and employed in his work).
